The Wasatch Front Tri-Canyon areas of Millcreek, Big Cottonwood Canyon, and Little Cottonwood Canyon are the Salt Lake Valley's figurative "Holy Grail." Providing water and recreation to Salt Lake Valley residents, the Cottonwood Canyons provide happiness and eternal youth to their citizenry.

Skiing, hiking, and road or mountain biking are made easy when living at the base of these canyons. Because of its proximity to a major metro area, the Wasatch-Cache National Forest has more users annually than Yellowstone Park and the Grand Canyon combined.
